Paul Ryan, Catholic, Tapped as Romney's Running Mate
Paul Ryan a Catholic, a defender of life, has been chosen by Mitt Romney to be his VP running mate. Mr. Ryan is a good man. A man who loves his faith, his family and his country.
Author, philosopher and Catholic theologian Michael Novak says he is thrilled with the selection of Paul Ryan, “because it emphasizes family, character and a vision that is on the offense against President Obama and that sees Obama as destroying the country’s military and financial structure and pitting class against class.”
As Catholics, we must hope and pray, that whoever is elected President and Vice President of our country, that it be God's Will. We also have a responsibility to do all in our power to see that whoever is elected, that they will defend all human life, from conception to natural death.
John Paul II said,"Woe to you if you do not succeed in defending life." He also says, "America, Defend Life!" "America, your deepest identity and truest character as a nation is revealed in the position you take towards the human person. The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless ones."
